David Macklin

Dave Macklin is a highly- respected leader on matters related to information technology policy. He serves as Senior Policy Advisor to the Digital Dialogue Forum (DDF), Washington DC’s premier technology policy round table. Since 1998, DDF has hosted hundreds of meetings to promote sensible public policy while strengthening relations between the high tech industry and government officials.

Macklin also serves as a Senior Vice President at Washington Resource Associates (WRA) where he manages WRA’s federal, state, and local government affairs programs and strategic philanthropic initiatives. He has traveled extensively throughout the country participating in media awareness events, panels and workshops in support of innovative public-private partnerships.

Macklin also serves as the President and a Board member of the Center for Public Policy Innovation (CPPI), a 501(c)(3) not for profit educational think tank whose mission is to assist government officials in addressing the many challenging issues brought on by the rapid advancement of Information Technology.

Prior to joining WRA, Macklin served as a senior aide to former Congressman Robert J. (Bob) Mrazek of New York, where he specialized in immigration and education issues.

Macklin graduated from the University of Vermont in 1986 with a B.A. in Political Science, and completed graduate courses in American Government at The American University in Washington, DC.
